FAQ'S

Q. Am I able to supply my own garments?

A. Here at Vector City Ltd we accept garments supplied by clients. However, the client
must be aware of the risks involved in doing so and must formally agree to the terms specified in our Client Supplied Form'. That being said, we are more than happy to supply a range of different garments and quote get great prices for them. So do let us know what specific brands you have in mind and we will see what we can do for you.

Q. Can I print the same design on different garments?

A. Yes, in most cases this is possible. Just let us know the exact size and positioning and we can advise you further.

Q. Can I print a design on different sized garments?

A. Yes, this should be fine. We can advise a print size that fits all sized garments.

Q. Do l have to pay for samples?

A. In our opinion doing samples is always the best option before putting in a bulk order. Sampling fees do apply. This is to cover the time and labour spent setting up your design

Q. What is the turnaround time?

A. Once you are happy with the estimate and you have approved the visual, turnaround time can roughly be between 1-2 weeks depending on the number of units to be printed. Turnaround can be done sooner for smaller orders.

Q. What format should my artwork be?

A. For best results - Vector (AI/PDF) format is best. We can also work with PSD files. Artwork should be scaled to the required print size and should be at least 300 DPI. If artwork has a low resolution we may need to work on it. There will be an artwork charge for this. If you are not sure what the requirements are for your design, please get in touch.

Q. Why is the screen set up cost high?

A. The amount of screens we use all depends on the amount of colours required for your designs. Each colour is a screen. It is good to note that if you require printing on
coloured garments an under base will be required. This counts as an extra screen/colour.

Q. Can I come down and visit your studio?

A. Of course! You can come and check us out. Just make sure to book an appointment, as we need to schedule you in.

Q. What is your minimum order?

A. We have different methods of printing. Some do not have a minimum order and some do. The best way to find out is to check on each of our printing pages for more information on minimum orders.
